My son and I had visits together because he has autism and a developmental disability. We arrived about 15 minutes late due to traffic. They said it was no problem. When Courtney took us back for all the tests they do, she was so caring and patient with Joey. It put him at ease and he cooperated much better than he ever has. Dr Sargent was also great with him and it made the whole experience great.

They provide quality care. Very pleasant staff. However, be prepared for long wait times. My most recent appointment was at 10:30 am. I arrived on time and left at 11:55. 25 minutes of that time was in the waiting room and another 25 was waiting for the doctor in the exam room. No explanation or apology was made. And this is not unusual. Poor patient management.

I am so pleased to have discovered this location and Dr. Derham. I had an emergency with my eye the evening prior, and the office made time for me to come in. Dr. Derham examined my eye and requested some necessary labs for accurate diagnosis. However, she had a good initial diagnosis we were hopeful of. Two days later, the bad things were ruled out; she personally called me with the news and told me of the rx she was ordering. This was incredible, patient-centered service. The office, as of October 2022, has staffing problems, so there are signs warning you and requesting patience. The folks who are there are working hard at their jobs to serve us, so please grant them some grace.

No handicap parking. The ramp was so steep that I held onto the bushes,which wasn’t very safe. A railing would be helpful. But once I got inside, things went smoothly. I wish I had got the name of my tech, because she was great. Very professional as well as a good “bedside”manner. I didn’t wait long to see Dr. Sargent, who will be doing my cataract surgery and I’m confident I’ll be in good hands. I do wish I was able to make my pre surgery appointment that day & been able to talk to someone about the cost. But other than that, zero complaints

Had a wonderful experience at Texan Eye Main office. Check in at the kiosk was quick. I was seen on time. All staff was professional. And Doctor Young is really wonderful. She’s competent and makes you feel 100 percent comfortable. The staff does a good job of explaining the process every step of the way.

Staff members were very nice. However, I will have to think twice before returning. As a patient we are asked to arrive early for check in so we can complete paperwork and any other pre-exam items out of respect for the busy schedule of the doctor. But when I had to wait 35min to start the pre-exam and only 5min with the doctor I myself felt disrespected. Our time is just as must of a priority as theirs.

My eye doctor Kristen Sargent, is excellent! She takes the time needed to read the past history in the chart, consult with her nurse assistant, and then be attentive to my eye issues. She knows medicine, technique , and me personally . As a clinician, I like and respect her highly.

Texan Eye is the most efficient medical office I've ever visited. The kiosk check-in is super simple and easy to use. I found the ample text/email reminders very helpful, as I'm a forgetful person. At check-out, they already knew exactly how much I owed, instead of waiting to receive a bill three months later. On top of their efficiency, Dr. Lewis was fantastic. He quickly diagnosed my condition and got me feeling better the very next day. 10/10 recommend.
